Energetic, creative, imaginative – maybe it comes from watching the anime of that era, but I found the Daicon IV segment to be terrific. Like the trip without the acid (jk). ELO is always a plus, too. Wish we had more anime like that now. I liked the Densha Otoko opening, too. The homage was excellent. Treading on an old argument here, but it’s fundamentally different from American animation – and I hope it stays that way.
