In any case, also just like their SUMMER WARS release, the film is playing practically nowhere in the midwest, big surprise. I see a single-day showing in Indy, big whoop.

But to my happy surprise, my local theater’s website specifies that they are showing “Eva 2.0” in Japanese w/ subs. So check with whoever’s showing it in your area, maybe you’ll get lucky too.

As happy as I am to actually see one in my state, I don’t think I really want to make a multi-hour drive for a dubbed Eva. I didn’t care much for the dub track in the TV series and I’d rather not listen to Spike Spencer for a few hours when I haven’t even seen it in Japanese yet.
